I love these boots! They are comfor table right away. They have great arch support, non slip soles, and they come in wide! They look expensive ,and are very well made at a reasonable price. I will wear these forever!

Excellent boots. Ordered mine about a year ago so I have waited to write a review. First let me say how pleased I am for those of us with wide feet that we can order our true size and not live in agony. Held up extremely well, little wear to soles. Lacing great. Been in mud, rain, GGT, dry. All conditions. Will order another pair most definitely.

Wow–I am an avid consumer of reviews and like to post them whenever I can though it really stands out when my own experience is so different from the others posted. I was excited to get these based on the reviews and truly have never been so eager to get shoes or boots off my feet as they were uncomfortable even before I took a step. The material is stiff and the back seems to push against the back of the leg but these are very tight and narrow at the instep before you even start walking. They also did not look as if they were made of quality materials… so they were back in the box less than five minutes after UPS delivered them. What a disappointment–and least for me!

This was a long shot purchase but when I put them on I was sold. Absolute comfort. My feet have been bugging me in flat boots and shoes and the little heel on these boots is just well balanced enough to do the trick. I’m not an equestrian muck raking stalls but I do spend a lot of time outdoors and depend on my feet to keep me going. I’m keeping them.

I love this boot. I looked for a long time for a boot that would be good for being on my feet out in the field as a social worker, but would also look good when I go into meetings with stakeholders. These are very comfortable. They look just dressy enough for consults and meetings. I thought I would need to break them in, but I wore them for hours the first time I wore them. I usually put arch support insoles in all my shoes and boots (best way to protect knees), but I don’t need them with these boots. My feet are thin, so I can wear heavy socks with the medium. I’ll probably put a small insole in them come spring and fall so they are tighter, but the true lace up feature means I can tighten them. Just love them.

I am really impressed with these boots. I bought them to wear on a horse-and-hike trip through New Mexico and they were super comfortable right out of the box. I walked literally 7 miles a day without a pinch or rub. I mean, I brought bandaids with me and didn’t touch them. Scrambled up very rocky hills to see petroglyphs, walked around a mountain lake in spring snow, climbed ladders into cliff dwellings at Bandolier, walked to Walt Longmire’s house across Valle Caldera, toured the Georgia O’Keeffe museum and walked to B and B in a hailstorm. They got dirty- I wiped them clean and wore them to dinner with a dress. Plenty of room in toe box, padded collar, adjustability with lacing. Great ankle support and traction sole. I never touched my cushy running shoes once. I might put a squishier insole with a higher arch inside, but my husband says I’m not allowed to wear them to bed.

When I first ordered these boots, I ordered them in sizes 8. They arrived fast, but when I opened the box, there were two different boots inside. Daniel in customer service was wonderful (and apologetic). He send a new pair overnight and they fit perfectly. After wearing them around the house for a day, I’m pretty sure there will be a short break-in period, but overall, these are exactly what I was looking for.

I wear these as my duty boots in a police department. I’m a civilian, but have to wear a uniform. These are perfect. I can go from a commiunity meeting to homeless camps, they work for both. I’ve been wearing them for 10-12 hour shifts for over a year. I need support for my knees (I’m 68) and my knees never hurt in these. When I have to go into muddy areas I wear my department issue, and my knees always hurt when I have to do that. I’d give 6 stars if I could!

This purchase was to replace in kind my old Heritage boots. I love the foot base of these boots and the laced uppers too that lets me snug up the boot to my foot. I appreciate the small updates to the sole and the chamfer of the heal corners. The fit is just as I want. I have the wide side so that I can place a cushy felted wool foot insert into the boot without crowding my feet. This assembly keeps my feet quite happy. Thank you for continuing to stick with a proven design!

I love these boots. I needed a wide to fit my feet. They worked perfect. I have had them a year and they work great. I like the laces so I can adjust to my socks. The leather is great and I can get these wet without issue but I do add a polish that helps. Easy to clean. They are really nice and super good quality.

I have had these brown Ariat paddock boots for almost 4 years and they have been magnificent! They are very comfortable and hold up to lots of wear and tear. I am NOT nice to my paddock boots — I do everything in them: mucking stalls, I ride in them, turn out horses in the mud, hike through muddy pasture etc, wear them to get coffee and then the rest of the day because I’m too lazy to change shoes… They have held up GREAT! I do clean & polish them every now and again when they get really dirty. Recently, the leather finally did start to crack at the bend in the toe and at the tongue under the laces so I have replaced them with the exact same style. Mind you, I am saving my new pair until I truly walk through the old ones. I hope Ariat will always makes these, they are my favorite barn shoes EVER.
