Nice looking but couldn’t put them on feet!
We had no idea how we were supposed to get these on. There wasn’t enough room to slip them on.

Buy a half size smaller. Normally, I wear a size 6, but after reading previous reviews of this product, I ordered a size 5.5. This was absolutely the right move. My foot slipped right into the boot without issues. The fit feels perfect. Very comfortable right out of the box. No break-in required! The color of the boot is slightly darker than photographed. I actually like the true color better than the picture. Absolutely LOVE Zappos. I ordered my boots on Saturday afternoon and received them Monday morning with FREE shipping. Zappos continues to be the best online ordering experience. Great product and great company!

I am a 71-year-old grandma of 13 grandchildren. I live in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. I don’t ride horses, but I have always wanted a pair of cowboy boots. So one night looking at Zappos.com I saw a pair of boots I liked and thought, what the heck. Go for it. I am happy with my purchase. I have foot problems, so I don’t wear them everyday, but do enjoy wearing them on occasion. My grandchildren think I am cool! I love Zappos’ service. My boots were delivered promptly.

Great boots! I liked the first pair so much that I purchased a second pair in black. While some boots feel clunky and loud, these have an understated, simple elegance. They go well with jeans or dresses and even shorts. I like that the soles are made of a rubbery type material that doesn’t make a loud noise while I walk. The boot’s toes give my toes a little wiggle room. Very comfortable.

I like this boot a lot. But please take note, if you usually wear a size 10 1/2, an 11 may be too large and although a size 10 may be difficult to put on, it will be a good fit overall. Zappos has by far the best customer service of any store, anywhere…ever!

Love these boots! A basic cowgirl boot that works hard and goes with anything! I have been wearing them for the past year as my work boots and could probably get a couple more years out of them. They take almost no time to break in, and feel like your wearing socks once you do. I think the more you wear and break them in, the better they look. They have become my signature look. Ariats do typically run a half size smaller. I am traditionally a Women’s 10 but take 9.5 in these. These are a perfect pair of little frills, starter cowgirl boots. Buy them! I promise you will love them!

I got these at lunch time today and have been wearing them for almost 8 hours now. The great thing for me is that for the past few months, I have suffered with ball of the foot/metatarsal pain. These boots have completely relieved the pain. I have another pair of Ariats and I like them, but these are just wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about them. They are stiff enough to provide the support my sore foot needs. I find Ariats run a half size off. I usually wear a 7.5, but take an 8 in Ariat. Once I established that (with the other boot) all Ariat size 8 fit.

I was going away for a weekend visiting friends and horseback riding, but I had forgotten to order the boots I needed. Robin, at Zappos, was a lifesaver. She helped me with my purchase, and made sure they were shipped on time for the weekend. The boots looks good and fit great. Thanks Zappos.

Beautiful leather and so supple and soft! No need to break in. You can wear a thick or thin sock and it makes no difference. I am 5’2 and weigh 103 and these look awesome on a petite frame, especially with leggings tucked in! Beautiful! Frye is a great brand, but double the price, and frankly these are more comfy! Can do thick or thin sock!

I still rave about these boots. I couldn’t believe I had never heard of the brand before, but I plan on buying at least a couple more pairs, possibly even of the same model. Their comfort level exceeds that of any boot I’ve bought, but they did require about a week’s worth of wearing in. And while I’m no rider, I do plenty of walking and these boots have shown me no grief thus far. On the other hand, I’m a slight klutz and the boots have endured a decent amount of erosion and spills. But alas, they are invincible! And they look great. I’m about 5’4″ and they hit me mid-calf, which normally wouldn’t be too flattering, but surprisingly, and to my delight, were. I ordered them in 7B, and I’m pretty sure the size influences the height of the boot, and so the fit may not be the same for others. On another note, the boots have great traction, and I feel safe walking across any surface. They slide on and off with ease, but don’t feel loose. All in all, this is a wonderful boot, and if you’re caught between this and a Frye, ditch the Frye. I own a pair of Frye’s and their comfort level doesn’t compare.

Love these boots. Had Ariat jodhpurs before as my outdoor work/field boot and literally wore them out (+4 years), so knew the quality was excellent. Went more western with style this time and was amazed at the comfort out of the box. Also have Frye boots as my ‘pretty’ go out boots, but still breaking them in, so these are my go to. Have walked the dogs +3 miles in them and had full comfort and great support. Want them in black Santa! (Please…)

Love these boots! They run true to size but I got the wide because the regular seemed too tight.

Love everything about this shoe – but the best part is the rounded toe. It’s hard to find a cute cowboy boot with a rounded toe and a really tough sole. These look great with pants, awesome with skirts. I’m usually an 8, but I ordered a 7.5 wide because the 8 was too big and the fit was loose. They’ll need a bit of breaking in, but they were comfy outside the box and I wore them all day without problems.

My friend loves these boots. I bought them for her to wear at the stables. Good quality leather. Well made.

My brother first ordered these boots for me. I was shocked not only by the sweet and kind gesture but by how comfortable the are. I had to get a half size smaller and I’m glad I did because since purchasing, they have stretched out a bit. I wear them every opportunity I get from work to play. I have ruined countless pairs of sneakers, but if I need the perfect thing to wear, I grab my boots.

I have been looking for everyday boots for 5 months now. Living on Long Island, NY, most girls wear fashionable clothes and boots (that are destroyed within 2 months in the winter). I tend to like a more casual look. Got these boots today and I absolutely love them. The fit is great, just a little loose in the heel, but kind of in a comfortable way. I’ve noticed with previous boots that I’ve ordered, that they were tight around the middle, so luckily this boot came in wide and it fits me much better. I cannot wait to move upstate next year and really take advantage of them! Excellent service from Zappos as well. Ordered Sunday night, got them Tuesday afternoon.

I have never found a boot that fit well until this one. My feet are a very hard fit for any shoe, more so a boot. These are very true to size with a great arch support. Zappos came through again with a great product that really fits. That is why I always end up getting my shoes here. Thanks.

I love my boots that I just got feb-20012. They are so comfortable. I have been looking for these for years. I put a large pin through the strap on the side for pulling up, and it looks really sharp and different.,And one day I looped a small silver chain. Every body loved it and is always asking me about my boots. I See people’s eyes going to my feet all the time. I have never gotten so much attention from a pair of boots in my life, and they love the added bling. Will buy the brown!

These boots are the best! They look good with jeans, dresses, and shorts. They have such an expensive look for a very doable price. And as always, Zappos service was impeccable to say the least! I can always find what I want from Zappos. I wear a 5-5 1/2 shoe, and so shopping at Zappos has made finding my size easy, in all the latest styles. Go Zappos!

Great boot! Very pleased. I have wide feet and high arches. Good support. Probably could be a little wider, but I ordered the C width they had available and I am probably a D width but they are still quite comfortable. I’m almost always a size 8, but I ordered a 7.5 based on other reviews and I think they are perfect. My heel comes up a little with tights but with thickish socks they are just right. Stylish, good quality, have gotten compliments already! Thank you Ariat!

I was looking for ropers to wear on the trail as well as around town. These fit the bill perfectly! I usually wear a 7½ but found these fit better in a 7. They are easy to get on, have a comfortable footbed. I like them better than the Frye ropers because the shaft is higher so dirt will stay out, and they are way less expensive! Also one pair of Fryes that I ordered were not lined in the shaft, which I did not like at all. The Ariats are a better product with better support and more comfort, all for less money!

All-around great boot. Very pleased with my purchase. After wearing them about a week, they felt like they were made for my feet. Softened up quickly. While they are not advertised as being insulated, they keep my toes nice and warm in a very cold arena. Way better than a pair of Frye’s I’ve been using until my Heritage Ropers. Would highly recommend.

These boots are extremely comfortable and look great. I can spend all day in them at a horse show and my feet still feel fine at the end of the day. Ariats are the best in the boot market.

I’ve owned many brands of boots, Born, Frye, Merrell and more. These are by far the most comfortable of them all. I’ve had my current pair for almost 10 years and they still are looking great. They develop a nice patina and begin to look vintage. I recommend the distressed brown. The other leathers are nice but require some care to stay nice. I don’t use them for riding as I don’t own a horse anymore but they can go anywhere a Frye can go and wear way better. They have a nice rubber sole so you can wear them if it’s wet outside, unlike the Frye leather soled styles which can get ruined if you wear them in rain or snow. Also, they sort of mold to your foot after some wearing and get more comfortable with time. You can remove the insole for cleaning or to use your own orthotics which cannot be done in most every other brand. Size wise, I think they may run a bit big, I wear an 8.5 and I own 8’s but mine are older so I would try your regular size first especially if you like to wear heavier socks or use orthotics. These are timeless as far as style goes and have not changed in years. They have just a bit of western flair at the top but otherwise are very classic looking and they are priced right. Mind you, they aren’t thin and dressy, they are actually made to be worn. So if you are tired of expensive boots that hurt your feet, try these. You’ll be glad you did.

High arches make getting into an Ariat boot difficult. I’ve tried many pairs and sizes before finding the trick. Determined, using all my strength, and leveraging the weight of my full-body, I forced my foot into the boot. Honestly, it was a little painful and while working through the pain I told myself I could always cut the boots off if I couldn’t reverse the effort. Fortunately it only required a one-time push-through-the-pain effort. My husband’s assistance in pulling them off was only needed on the first day. Since then, with each wearing, they have become more pliable. It’s been one week, yet after wearing them for various short-term activities, the boot is already forming to my feet and is now easy to get in and out of. Bottom line: if you have high-arches, don’t give up. If you can find the strength to wedge your foot in, these boots will stretch after wearing and form to your unique foot. p.s. remove and set-aside the insoles for the first week of boot re-shaping.
