I bought these in February 2014, it’s now September and I wear them every day. I have really bad feet from having 1 foot crushed and the other foot has a bunion with an in turned big toe. Most shoes kill my feet whether it’s my bunion or my flat arches. These boots took a little bit to break in but I absolutely love them!!! Even though they are still new I am ordering a second pair immediately because when the day comes in like 3 years I want to have another set of these boots. They’re that awesome comfort wise and looking wise!!!

I bought theses to try and replace my Ariat Lacer Work boots (Style 31080) that have been discontinued, and I have worn them for seven years. I actually have worn the sole off, and the boot is in near perfect condition. They were the most comfortable boots that I have ever had. Now these Ariat Probaby Lacers are a bit more dressy, very cute, but not very comfortable. When I squatted to test how they bend, they pinch the top of my feet. They do have some arch support, but not quite enough in my opinion. These would make cute boots for just wearing around town, but not great as ranching/work boots. Ariat please bring back your old Lacer style!

I loved my Ariat Heritage Ropers for years, but when my feet changed to a larger size, and a broken little toe didn’t heal straight, I was forced to find different boots.I also needed to replace some Harley boots that were too small. After trying many other boots, the Probably Lacer was the only “keeper”, and is a great replacement for both pair of boots. I wore them shopping right out of the box, and have worn them 2-3 days a week since. The leather at the top was really stiff, so I didn’t use the top 2 hook type lacers, and that worked fine. After wearing them, I now skip the top one, but use the second one down. They do look “vintage” –leather shows scratches, but I like that. They have a work boot look, but cute and stylish. Both of my daughters approved of this fashion choice for me,also. I teach, and will probably work in these some days.

I purchased this boot in February 2014 and it is now September and I wear them every day. They are the best boots I have ever owned. No break in blisters or problems. I also have a tipped pelvis which causes me to wear the heel down on the outside of the boot but so far that has not happened to this boot. I usually get shoes in wide width because I had my foot crushed by a horse 25 years ago but the B width in this boot is perfect and doesn’t bother my arch or bunion. I did, however, wear them around the house starring an hour a day and increased by an hour every 3 days until I was up to 5 hours and then they were fully broke in. Buying a second pair for when the day comes that I need new boots because you know how it goes, you find a boot you love and when they wear out 4 years later your boot is no longer available.

Love these boots! Very comfy and supportive. Nice arch support too. I purchased them to work out on my farm, but so far I’ve just been running errands in them as they are quite cute with jeans! I can wear a 6 to 6.5 and have these in the 6.5 and they are perfect with my medium weight socks. And….as always Zappos delivered a great product and customer service!

The Ariat Probaby Lacer is a good-looking but strong boot. Unfortunately, the 7 1/2 rubs in a few places. The boot might soften up but I can’t count on it so am returning and ordering an 8. I wish it came in wide, then I think the 7 1/2 would have been okay.

These are without a doubt among the cutest shoes I’ve ever bought. They did take a couple of days to break in, but they were never horribly uncomfortable, and now that they have “molded” to my feet, I am able to wear them very comfortably all day. I like the ankle support – I do a lot of walking at work, on a concrete floor, and my ankles would get sore towards the end of the day. These seem to have alleviated that (even though that’s not why I bought them). I’m very pleased with them. They are very sturdy and look like they will last a long time.

I love, love, love these boots. I tried them on with very thin socks and they feel just about perfect. I never thought a hard-soled, structured boot could feel so great. I have two concerns — my bunions hurt a bit, but I’m counting on the leather to conform to my foot so that won’t be a problem. The other concern is that if I want to wear thick socks, they might be too tight. Soooo, since Zappos didn’t have the next size up, I ordered them (gasp) elsewhere to see how an 11 will fit. That said, these are wonderful boots. The elastic around the tongue inside is a great feature that gives your foot a nice hug and makes the fit snug but not too tight. I’m going to wait and see how the 11s fit, but for now, I’m hanging onto these babies. Thanks, as always, to Zappos for the best customer service on the planet.

What can I say – they’re Ariats. I’ve never met an Ariat boot I didn’t like, and these are no exception. Very comfortable and I love the style. They feel a bit big, so I wear two pairs of socks with them but I think with boot socks I’d only need one pair. I’m very happy I bought these.

I have wore pull on Ariat boots for over 10 years. I’ve always had to have them stretched in certain places because of foot surgeries. My Dr told me I really should have laced boots. I took a chance and bought the lacers. What a fit! Do not have to have them stretched. Took out the insole and replaced it with my orthotics. They feel wonderful and I could not be happier. Would recommend them to everyone, especially if you have foot issues. My next pair will definitely be another pair of these!

After wearing my ProBaby Lacers for almost ten years, I finally broke down and ordered a new pair. The new ones are a little darker than expected and the tongue style is completely different. Other than that, they are awesome! They fit perfectly from the moment I put them on. I like the snugness of the new elastic tongue, but I prefer the waterproof-ness of the old tongue.
I also ordered a pair of “pecan” ProBaby Lacer that are the same style, but with a different type of leather (more dressy) and has a red star instead of the blue star. I wear a 6B, but I had to get a 6.5B in the pecan because that was all that was available. It is the EXACT SAME SIZE as my 6B! I measured them together and wore one of each to see if they fit differently. They don’t. They are the same size even though the size tag inside says otherwise. (Which I am extremely grateful for because I wasn’t looking forward to wearing two pair of socks with the 6.5!)
Love both pair and hope they last another ten years…

My boots just arrived and I had to put them on immediately. They fit like a glove right out of the box. I love the support around my ankles. Just a little stiff, but I’m sure with wear they will loosen up. I was afraid they might be too narrow because I have wide feet, but they fit around my foot perfectly. There is even enough room for my toes to move around. I bought a half size larger so I could hopefully wear thick socks when it’s cold. I have found these boots run true to size while others say they run small. That wasn’t the case with mine. As far as longevity, I can’t answer yet, but from the feel I suspect they will last a long, long time. I’ll let you know later. I’ve wanted these boots for a long time and I am ecstatic now that I finally have them. No regrets.

I’ve owned these boots for over 5 years. I have a wood shop and commuted to art school, so needless to say, they were definitely being used. I decided it was time to get a new pair since they were so beat up.
I ordered these and the Canyon II to try something new, and decided I liked both!

I am on my fourth pair of the same probaby laceup boot. Even got the ostrich ones for a dresser look but the chocolate ones are by far my favorite. On cement floor for 9 hours a day and they are the only boots that don’t make me even think twice about being on my feet all day. So comfortable right out of the box. They do get softer over time with a good leather conditioner which I love about them. I get so many compliments on them. Cute and durable. All season with or without socks. A must have.

I have had there for a year and a half. They have held up great. I am a farmer and work hard everyday fixing fence, cutting and bailing hay and working cattle, These are the best boots I have had. Sturdy and comfortable. I have plantar faciatis and it has not bothered me one bit in these boots, no more shots in my feet. The only thing is I have wore out the insole but I have ordered replacements and hope they come in soon.

I love these probaby lacer boots. They are very comfortable, have traction in the stirrups and walking, plus take a beating and last quite awhile. I have been re-ordering these boots for 10 years. They have never tore or ripped.I simply finally wear them out.

I have very bad inoperable bunions and have an extremely difficult time finding shoes and boots that fit. These boots are perfect for me. I have several pairs of Fatbaby boots that I love. These are my new favorite. Now, I just need them in black! Please

Just bought these boots and I am hooked! I have major feet issues [heel pain, plantar fasciitis, high arch] and I must admit, these shoes are relatively pain free.. Thank you Ariat!

Good quality leather. I ordered waterproof style which may make it a little stiff around the ankle at first. I expect that will become more comfortable as they are broken in. I love the round toe box for more room and comfort for all day wear. The tongue tab is difficult to get a hold of and not enough room for a finger but I expect it is there for looks rather than functionality. Barely room for a finger in the heel tab, that is disappointing. The laces could be a little longer. But overall, I am happy with the purchase.

I have had these boots about a month. I wear them 6 days a week 10 hours a day! They are so comfortable, while being stylish at the same time! Ariat’s will be the only boots I buy from now on!

I got bit of problem with my feet and wasn’t sure are they going to work for me but I’m very much surprised in the good way. I’ve bought them 3 weeks ago and hardly changing them for deferent boots. I love how they combine cowboy boots with hiking ones!

These felt stiff when I first put them on and was worried about the break in period. Wore them to work on a ranch and they were extremely comfortable! I used a waterproof spray and we will see how they hold up. I wear an 11 in their English paddock boots and got these in an 11 as well. Great fit
BB00 –
Very comfortable surprisingly light weight for all day wear. I have low arches since I’ve been wearing these boots my feet and legs don’t hurt. The boots are very cute you can dress them up or work in them as well.

This is my first pair of Ariat boots so I wasn’t sure about sizing. I ordered a 6.5 and ended up exchanging for a 7.5. I wear anything from 5 to 8 in western boots. I love the design, look, and feel of these boots!
