The boot has a seam at ankle height that is on both the outside and the inside of the boot and pressed against the inside of my ankle. It was very uncomfortable when put on an the laces tightened without having walked a single step. A very bad design and in all my years with many brands of boots I have never found any that were as uncomfortable as these Ariat Turbo work boots.

The boots felt true to size, no arch support and very uncomfortable. The inside where tongue is sown to the inside of the boot hits at the ankle and is very uncomfortable.

they are very comfortable. i do landscaping all day and they felt great. I would recommend these boots for anyone thats on their feet for a long period of time.

Fit is comfortable. I ordered wide and don’t realize the composite toe is there. Definitely a pair I’d wear on my 12hour shifts.

Size runs a little big I had to choose one size smaller than my regular sneaker shoes. Overall like them and I do not get tired in them!

I have had a few pairs of Ariat boots in the past. this is the first 6″top pair I have had. The fit of the boot was true to size. The only challenge I have with them is that I have to be aware of how I lace the top hooks as they have the ability to create a hot spot on my ankle from the back side of the lace hook. This is like a situation particular to this pair of boots.

Ive had these boots for about 7 months now and im in love with them i wear them for about 10 hrs a day and they don’t really make my feet hurt

First time bought these I was thinking it might be good to have in case it snows. After getting them I noticed a pinch type feeling near the tongue. The reason for that is the insoles lifted my foot causing the tongue to press towards the top of my foot. If I don’t wear the insoles then my ankle hurts. Now these are my last resort boots for snow, rain or outdoor muddy activities.

The boots are very comfortable and on the lighter side. The only problem I have with the boots is when you tie the shoelaces tight it presses down the waterproofing side into your foot so it’s a little uncomfortable, but overall great boot and very comfortable.

Longer than expected, narrower than expected.
Even with EE-Wide width, was narrow for me. Toe box with comp toe extends boot length farther.
This exacerbates heel slipping.
And previous reviews were correct about the tongue digging into top of foot. Even with my flat feet.

Maaaaaan oh man I’ve had these things for near 2 years and they’re still going strong. I wear them more often than the other boots in my rotation for good reason. The leather is kinda beat but that’s from the nonskid in the shipyard, nothing toe protectors can’t fix. They’re absolutely the most comfortable safety toe boots I’ve ever owned. I cannot find fault with them, the only reason I’m looking to get another pair is because mine smell so dang bad and I can’t get rid of it.
