Joseph –
Fit and size is great. Let it be know that they are not the easiest to pull-on and pull-off. I’m hoping this will get easier as they get broken in.

Everything about the boots was great for my husband except that they started giving him bald spots on his legs

Unfortunately it was a half size too large for me personally. I ordered my normal boot size as it stated true to size for most. I’ll be returning them and exchanging them for a size smaller. They are comfortable right out of the box.

Could not get them on my foot, stuck moving through the ankle. Returned.

Moderate difficulty getting my feet into these boots, but once they’re in, they are very comfortable. Would love it if they offered these in black or even dark red or brown, but these are fine.
Catherine –
These were better made than the last 2 items that I returned! Much more comfortable and they keep your feet warm and dry!
Mark –
They are extremely comfortable once I got them on. Could someone explain to me why every pair of boots like this or cowboy boots I have the most difficult time putting them on and taking them off?!? It’s the heel only and I seriously was getting a little winded lol

Material is great. Comfort is great. However I found out since I work in a warehouse environment for 10+ hours a day and have what’s considered a D size in normal shoes I needed a wide size since my feet tend to want more room in the shoe as the day progresses. So I’d suggest getting wide if you plan on working in these for more than 10 hours. The insert did go pretty quickly. 4 months in and they’re gone. I ordered some new ones. I also now have a weird piece of what feels like metal poking my heel in my right boot but not the left so I’m hoping Zappos can help me out on that? I’ll be calling them soon in hopes for an exchange or something.

It’s like walking on a cloud.

The boots feel good, a little to get on. I need more distance between the heel and the tongue of the boot. Imagine that bisecting plane being larger for people with big ankles

I like these boots and they would be perfect for my job. But the carbon toe was rubbing up against my big toe a little too much. So I ordered the soft toe version which Zappos did not have, so I went with another company. Don’t get me wrong, I will still order from Zappos, just not this time. P.S. Returning them was a breeze.

I liked the boots. The style. The feel. The comfort. The one reason I returned the boots was the carbon toe would have given me a blister on my big toe. Other than that they were great. Great service.
NJ –
I got these boots for work but I wear them everywhere! They are so comfortable it feels like I’m walking on air. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my ARIAT WORK BOOTS!!

They fit great!

I ordered the wrong size and width. Love the style but I messed up.

I wear a 13 in dress shoes & sneakers, and ordered this boot in 13. It turned out to fit perfectly and be true to size. This boot is like a bedroom slipper! Tons of cushion, and with the carbon toe, it’s still extremely lightweight. It seems more like an Ugg than an Ariat, but you can tell that it will stand up to a rough environment. This is my first pair of Ariats but definitely not my last!
Matt –
In short, awesome work boot worth every penny.
Without question. Took a week to get comfortable 10h shifts on feet @ Amazon.
I Ordered 10EE as I have a wide-ish foot. (shoes I wear a 10 wide or 10.5 normal.) my first pair of Amazon @work boots were the yellow carhart work boots – which were fine for the first year … but they could not hold a candle to the comfort and functionality of Ariat boots.
What drew me initially was
– Wicking inner (eg keep foot dry, wicks sweat away)
– Carbon toe (light strong protection),
– Achilles/heel/foot top protection (as well as shin/calf)
– great style/leather.
– anti microbial (kills foot odor bacteria)
– and somehow waterproof too!
Made by an up-market co whose boots last .. and protects equestrian feet from horse hooves too!
To fellow Amazonians: Even well trained drivers wear seatbelts. You are proactively shopping foot protection w/ a substantial Amazon discount to avert that one potential (even minor) accident (in a multitude of correct decisions) that leaves you wishing you had protected your foot 10 years prior.
There are a lot of effective free @work shoe/boot options but consider an extra $60 or so (6$ a month (x12)) to protect beyond your foot to your shin, below calf etc not to mention stay dry, in comfort, inside & out the snow, rain, etc … it is well worth it.
This is a boot that lasts, and if you’re like me, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with their comfort and wear them for years. totally a steal even w/o the @work AZN-F employee bucks.

They seem to run a tad big or the fit is a bit different as I am used to lace up boots from the same company. I have a bit of play in the heal which is not the best for long term comfort. I feel if I had ordered a 1/2 size smaller they would be perfect but the boot itself is amazingly comfortable and the quality seems great as well. I will definitely order again just a 1/2 size down next time.

I bought these for my electrician boyfriend for Christmas. They work as hard as he does so far. They are very stylish also.

the fit and size was great. they are so comfortable with you wear them. i will defintily recommend people to buy them.

They fit as if they were custom made for my feet. Not a big fan of the suede texture, but oh well. Super happy with them

I am a big person at 6’3″ and 300lbs. I work on hard concrete for 10+ hours a day and these boots are very comfortable and my feet do not hurt at the end of the day like with other shoes. The boots are a little hot being waterproof and I wish there was other color options when I bought them but overall I am very satisfied.

Fit great color was not for me otherwise great boot!
Trevor –
They are some nice boots but I want to wear out my old Timberlands a bit more before I transition into them. The Timberlands were expensive boots when I acquired them and have been through a lot in the close to four years that I have been wearing them. I can probably squeeze a few more miles out of them, though, and would also like to hold onto them a bit longer even when I start wearing the Ariats in case the need arises where I want an old boot for a dirty task. The $100.00 coupon Amazon gave me for Zappos.com made getting the boots much more manageable on my end: it’s the nicest thing that anybody (especially an employer) has done for me in some time so I offer a sincere “thank you” and consider myself thoroughly satisfied with the experience. Thus, it seems that this isn’t really a review of the boots but more so a statement of where I am at on the matter and a “thank you” as well.

The left boot fit and felt slightly loose, the right boot felt a size too small. I had to look and make sure it was the correct size.
