These are amazing boots! I bought this and several other similar type boots for my 9 year old daughter to try. These boots were comfortable from the second she put them on (not the case with the other brands) and after a week of horse camp she did not have a single blister, only a little red on the heels. That alone was worth the price of these boots. They are definitely more expensive than other brands but in this case you get what you pay for. They got extremely dirty after a week of wearing them in the mud and dust but after cleaning them up with leather cleaner, they look great and have no scuffs or marks on the leather. So she can wear them this fall too. She wears a 4 and they were true to size.

Overall good quality and comfortable right out of the box. However, the zippers keep sliding down making it hard to ride any length of time without bending over to pull them up. There is no way to secure the zipper at the top like some other models made by this company. This seems to be an issue with this model based on what I have seen on horse equipment websites from other customers.

Purchased for my 8 year old. She is very picky about fit and feel. These boots have been great. Wore them right out of the box. Only one slight problem, the insole insert had a tiny wrinkle at the heel that I was able to trim away. After that, no complaints. The leather is certainly not top quality but for the price it is appropriate if not better. Thankfully she’s had no problem with slipping zippers.

My 12-year old finds these boots super comfortable and they’ve held up very well. She rides five times a week, and even when the boots get muddy they clean up nicely for shows.

I ordered these along with a pair of the zip up Old English boots for my 9 year old daughter. I ordered these in the same size as her Nike sneakers & these were huge on her. I would definitely recommend sizing down, and I generally size up to get my money’s worth on an expensive purchase. My daughter ended up keeping the Old English pair bc they fit better & she liked that they were shiny (these are like a matte finish). I actually liked the look of this pair better, but I wasn’t going to argue over it since the Old English are half the price!

My daughter loves these! They’re very comfortable and fit her really well. She has very narrow feet, so I was a little hesitant to order something that doesn’t lace up, but they’re perfect! She’s wearing her normal shoes size in these with regular socks.

BUY THIS BOOT! Don’t waste time with cheaper, inferior boots. Trust me, I did. After a few years of lessons and dealing with lower quality boots, I bit the bullet and am so glad! I ordered these and sprayed them with Kiwi Camp Dry waterproofing spray. They hose off easily and they have held up, along with being far more comfortable to wear. My daughter has been wearing the same pair for a year and they still look great and fit fine – thicker socks at first, now thinner. I just ordered the next size up to have on-hand. They do run big by a full size, so size down a bit.

Fit and quality great. However the height was odd for me, too low for a boot and too high for ankle boot (probably because I am an adult). When I walked the top of the boot cut into my shin.

Bought these for my daughter who has recently started horse riding lessons. She loves them! But, these are not just horse riding lesson boots!!! She wears them out and about. They are stylish with dresses, skirts, pants, etc. So versatile!!!

These boots are gorgeous, and I hadn’t realized that they come with a “wiggle room” sole installed already that can be taken out to give another half size or so of room. I’d say that they, typical for Ariat from what I’ve seen, run a little long for the numerical size. Because of this, I ordered the 4 for my daughter, who has just outgrown 4 sneakers and wears a 4.5 in Asics sneakers at least. They are perfect, with plenty of extra room, with the wiggle room insoles still in. So glad I read multiple reviews about getting these and not the “synthetic leather” boots that may have a higher propensity to give blisters. Thank you zappos 🙂

This boots were amazing for my 4yo niece who participated in the international equestrian competition. She said that the boot are very comfortable to ride the horse, walk and even run around. Very happy with this product
